This diagram highlights the major junctions which the test routes negotiate on a regular basis. For the roundabouts, you will have to judge the size, lane to use and how busy they are on approach. For the traffic lights, you will have to judge how complex, lane to use and possible re-position within the junction. (Listen to instructions given very carefully). We will visit these junctions frequently and in different directions during you lessons. Of course, ALL routes will also cover the roads that interconnect these major junctions, but these should not pose any problems for a driver ready to pass their driving test. These would include standard left/right turns and emerges with an assortment of hazards you could encounter driving through any of the normal residential areas. If you encounter a specific issue during your private practice, take a pic including a street name sign and look it up on Google maps and we can discuss or even visit on lesson.

The 'College' Junction is a combination of 'Nuns Corner' and 'Fryston Corner' connecting 3 major routes leading into and out of town. Outbound routes (diverging) are simpler than the inbound (converging) with the associated lane selection and changes where necessary (and timely)
