If you are here, your driving should be at the Test Prep stage

That is not to say that you will not find it useful if you are not quite there yet, but if your test is booked, you should take full advantage of the content on this page

To avoid repetition, we will work on the basis that you understand the following routines, MSM, POM, and LADA, if you don't, you have some revision to do

Easy to film, but very time consuming in production, these videos should be viewed in conjuction with the relevant slide from the lessons plans. Westward Ho - Bargate - Welholme Road

Follow the instruction: "Turn left at the 1st TL and turn right at the 2nd TL" in either direction

The slide and the video both have value, but when viewed together they become more than the sum of their parts

Once you can translate what you have learned here into your plan of action on the road, you will have gained the experience of negotiating this junction many times in car, and will have more awareness of the pitfalls that can trap a test candidate

Weelsby Road to Laceby Road (alt. Follow the signs for Lincoln)

Follow the instruction: "Turn left at the TL and then ahead at the roundabout"  (Follow the green car on the layout to the right

It is imperative that as you turn left at the traffic lights, you select the right hand lane in the new road, to be in the correct position to go ahead at the roundabout

Timing is the key, as you turn, you have "position" and can make the lane selection easily IF YOU DO IT STRAIGHT AWAY

The A180

The A180 and it's roundabouts

This is our longest video to date, just short of 18 minutes. It covers the Lock Hill, Westgate and Pyewipe roundabouts and also the Great Coates interchange. Showing the different approaches and exits, it contains excellent footage and tips, and also give you the opportunity to repeat/scroll the video forwards and back until you "get it" without spending hours of lesson time going around the houses

PYEWIPE RB - take the 3rd exit

The last roundabout before returning to the test centre, this dreaded right turn has caught many test candidates out for lane procedure when exiting the roundabout. Here we show you how to get the exit correct and stop the incoming dual carriageway traffic scaring the life out of you AND the examiner. Once you seen how it's done, it all seems so simple

Police Station to Bargate via TC

Starting on Victoria Street this video covers the Parkway - Ellis Way junction, through Victoria Street past the Town Hall and along Bethlehem Street and on towards Bargate and the A46 towards Lincoln. Spot the 5 zebra crossings, hidden side roads and see the places that pedestrians apprear from nowhere. Also contains a hint about the misleading SatNav instructions near the church
